The study involved 36 participants divided into 3 groups – all the groups consumed 350 calories during the day. They had either oatmeal, cornflakes or water for breakfast and ate the same lunch. The subjects were asked to write down their satiety levels every 3 hours, and their blood was analyzed for glucose and insulin levels.
